I think things are finally starting to smooth out around here. Home school is still rough at times, but I think she might actually be learning and that's a good thing. I've still been crafting as much as possible during home school hours when possible and at night. I take pictures of new items on my lunch break and list them in the evening. I've slowed down a bit on listing because of everything else going on, but I have finally reached the 60 item mark on etsy, the 40 item mark on artfire, 12 items on craftisart, and 6 on zibbet, so it's okay if I slow down a little. It would be nice if sales would pick up a little though.
Today I sat down and wrote a long list of things I would like to make. I ended up with 2 pages of items...which ended up filling me with tons of inspiration. So I should be crafting lots of new stuff soon!

Anyway, I thought I would share a few pictures of some new things I've listed recently.
This crochet afghan is part of my kaleidoscope series, is super chunky and the perfect size to use as a throw or lapghan. This is currently in my ArtFire shop.
This lady bug magnet was handpainted by me on a recycled can lid. This is currently in my artfire shop.
This cute bee magnet was handpainted by me on a recycled can lid. This is currently in my etsy shop.
This is the second crocheted piggy bank that I've made. I have one listed in my etsy store and one in my artfire store. They're super cute and feature a crocheted cozy that fits snuggly over a recycled tin can. The cozy has a hole at the top for money to fit through. The cozy is washable and slips off easily. The cozy can be purchased by itself if you'd like to recycle your own cans into piggy banks. These are also available for custom order if you'd like to choose your own colors, or if you'd like me to add some sort of design. Just contact me for details!

Craft is Art
I hope you enjoy all the handmade goodies you see there! Also, my newborn niece who was born last month and has been in the hospital with various health issues may be able to come home tomorrow, so we're all praying that she'll be okay to leave the hospital.
I guess that's it for now...but I'll try to do a better job at keeping up with this place.

These cute patriotic earrings are just in time for Summer!
I've already sold one pair of these disco dangle earrings!
This pretty necklace and earring set is a favorite of mine! These are made from an antique necklace! This afghan is the latest addition to my ArtFire shop and is made with scrap yarn from my stash. This is wildly colorful and super bulky and warm!

This bag was just re-added to etsy today. After its expiration, I added a lining and a snap closure...now it's even better than it was before!
These pretty brown fingerless gloves have been added to etsy as well.
These cute earrings are in my ArtFire shop.
I have some of these magnets in both shops and they're getting a lot of views in both places, but no sales just yet. I had a lot of fun making them and look forward to making some more soon.
Other than that, how was my week? Good and bad. My sister had her baby which is great, but then the baby got sick and needed to go back to the hospital...she was having seizures, wasn't getting enough oxygen and was malnourished (because she wouldn't eat due to the other issues mentioned) She's still in the hospital and we're waiting on the results of some tests...we're all praying for her safe return home!

These five stunning pairs of earrings were added to my ArtFire shop today so go check them out! I recently forked out the cash and upgraded to a pro site...and I'm quite impressed so far. Just hoping to get enough sales to make up for the monthly fee. Anyway, check out my shop and let me know what you think.

These pretty black and white earrings have already sold!!
A scarf just like this will soon be added to my artfire shop as well!!
But that doesn't mean that nothing new has been added to my artfire shop! I now have 12 items listed and will soon have more items available!

The top picture is a new crocheted capelet that I just listed today...I think it turned out very nicely. I love the ribbon detail at the top, as well as the button. I also listed these two crocheted flower pins yesterday. They can be used as brooches or pins and can also be used as appliqués.
Now for the big news...
I opened an artfire shop today! So now I'm on etsy and artfire. Check out my new shop here.

Just in time for Easter, I just listed this beautiful scarf in wonderful spring colors. This has a ruffle on one side and a wide striped ribbon woven through the other side. This is a great spring scarf! Make sure to check it out!

This baseball cap ear warmer is a custom order I just listed in my shop today. So this has basically already sold. Plus, 2 others have sold in less than a month. I'd say this is pretty popular and definitely something I should make more of. I'm very grateful to my step mom for giving me the idea for these.

This pretty necklace was made from a vintage bracelet that I bought at an antique store. The bracelet was broken, but I really liked these pendants on it. So, I put some black and white beads with it and this is what I came up with. Isn't it pretty? Make sure to check this out in my shop!

This cute little bunny just arrived in my store today! I finished crocheting him last night, and seriously considered taking the buttons off and embroidering his eyes instead...but my daughter assured me she liked him this way, so I thought I'd list him as is. I'm hoping everyone agrees with my daughter on this one! Make sure to check him out in my store!

I'm happy to say that I've listed a new item every day in my shop for the past 9 days (not counting weekends). This pretty necklace is today's listing so make sure to check it out. While taking pictures of this necklace, my cat tried to steal it from me...I have a cute picture of this as well:

Well, today is Friday and I managed to get a new item listed every day this week! Yay! This last item before I quit listing for the weekend is a pretty green shrug which doubles as a scarf. I love multi-functional stuff, don't you? I feel like I'm getting my money's worth when I can use something for more than one purpose. Come check this out in my store!!

I made this cowl neck warmer several months ago and set it aside because I wasn't quite sure what I should do with it. I really liked the texure of it, and the sparkly pink fuzzy yarn. Today I decided it would make a great Valentine's item, so I've listed it in my store for Valentine's. This is a large cowl that can be worn loosely around the neck or pulled tight with the crocheted drawstring for added warmth. Make sure to check it out in my store!

This necklace and earring set all started when I bought a bunch of broken jewelry at an antique store. This funky beaded purple necklace was there that just needed to be restrung. I shortened it up a bit and added a clasp. With the extra beads, I made a pair of earrings to match. Come check it out in my store at www.jenniferwhitedesigns.etsy.com

This Valentine's choker is crocheted with variegated pink yarn, is heart shaped and has a pretty heart pin in the center. Looking for a unique Valentine? This is it! Check this out in my store at www.jenniferwhitedesigns.etsy.com

I made these earrings for a lady that bought one of my necklaces a few months ago. She wanted a pair of earrings to match it, so this three strand necklace is what I came up with. She also bought my pearls and tears earrings that I just listed the other day, so that brings my sales up to 32! I hope she enjoys these funky earrings!

This cowl started out as a custom order for someone that didn't quite work out, but I thought it would make a nice cowl, and it looks like I was right! The colors look great together, especially the bright blue. This cowl is 17 inches long and laid flat approx 12 inches wide. Come check it out in my shop at www.jenniferwhitedesigns.etsy.com
