New Jewelry In My Store

This elegant ribbon drop choker is simple but very lovely. The ends have been lightly heated with a lighter to prevent the ends from fraying. The salmon colored drop pendant is very pretty, especially when the sun hits it.

This choker is my favorite. It's crocheted with large eyelets with a silvery ribbon threaded through. It has both a snap and tie closure, making it extra secure. Both of these are available here: www.jenniferwhitedesigns.etsy.com

Knitted Uterus

This knitted uterus was done for an alchemy request, and is my 8th sale!! It was pretty easy to make and is the strangest thing I've ever knitted. This was made for a lady who will be teaching a child birth class soon. Hope she likes it!

Need to get caught up...

I figured I should update this thing, as it's been awhile. I'm currently not working on anything new for the etsy shop, as I've taken some time off to make a curtain for the window on my front door. I've had to rip parts of it out and start again, so it's taken longer than I originally thought. But soon I'll be back to work. It would be a lot easier if items were actually selling, then I could afford to buy more yarn. My husband is out of work again, as his census job was only temporary and it seems that no one is hiring. But I'm sure things will be okay--God won't let us starve!

Anyway, thought I'd just pop in for a quick update. I've been spending the day outside with my family. We even had a little picnic lunch on the front lawn. I better get going...daylight's a-wastin'!

Handmade for Mother's Day

These are the two items I made for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day. For my own mom, I painted an extremely mediocre painting of flowers, which she seems to really like. Anyway, just thought I'd share this neck warmer and necklace. My MIL liked them!

Spring Green Slouch Hat with Brooch

This hat was finished a few days ago, but I had my sister take it to her house to take pictures of it for me, as she has a head form and I don't. This brooch was a yard sale find and very cute. I managed to find a whole bag full of brooches and now I just need to find more uses for them. Anyway, this is now listed in my etsy store, so if interested please check it out!

4 Months with Etsy!

Well, my first two items expired today, which means I've been with etsy for 4 months! I'm not planning on relisting as the two items are winter scarves, but I am happy that in this 4 months I've made seven etsy sales, plus 5 (I think) non-etsy sales. In my book that's success!

I'm praying for many more months making money creating!

May Giveaway!

This month's giveaway will be for a $5.00 gift certificate to my store. To enter, please leave a comment on this thread, either telling me your favorite item from my store: www.jenniferwhitedesigns.etsy.com, becoming a follower of my blog if you haven't done so already--then leaving a comment to tell me you've done so, or you can go to my etsy store and "heart" me--again, you must also leave a comment here letting me know you've done so.

If by some chance you happen to do all three of these things, I will enter you into the contest 3 times!

This is how the gift certificate will work. The winner may use this gift certificate at any time they choose, but must write "May Giveaway winner" in the note to seller when checking out. If they're in a huge hurry to pay, then they must pay the full amount and wait for me to refund the $5.00 via paypal...or they may wait until I've sent them an updated invoice and pay then. I'm online a lot, so it shouldn't take long.

Anyway, I've only had a few people enter each time I've done a giveaway so I'd say the chances of winning are pretty good!

Girly Pink Lace Wrap

This cute wrap is the latest item in my etsy store. My husband liked it so much he didn't want me to list it in my store! If you like it, please visit www.jenniferwhitedesigns.etsy.com and buy it!

April Giveaway Winner!!

The winner of April's giveaway is Kate! She has won the crocheted heart pot holder that was pictured the first of April. I would show another picture of it, but I'm not using the same computer that has all my pictures on it. I will try to contact Kate via her blog, but if you happen to be reading this, please either comment on this post with your email address, or email me at jenniferwhitedesigns@gmail.com with your mailing address and full name.

May's giveaway will be posted soon!
