Finally

I think things are finally starting to smooth out around here. Home school is still rough at times, but I think she might actually be learning and that's a good thing. I've still been crafting as much as possible during home school hours when possible and at night. I take pictures of new items on my lunch break and list them in the evening. I've slowed down a bit on listing because of everything else going on, but I have finally reached the 60 item mark on etsy, the 40 item mark on artfire, 12 items on craftisart, and 6 on zibbet, so it's okay if I slow down a little. It would be nice if sales would pick up a little though.

Today I sat down and wrote a long list of things I would like to make. I ended up with 2 pages of items...which ended up filling me with tons of inspiration. So I should be crafting lots of new stuff soon!

Finding a Rhythm

Well I've just barely started to find my rhythm with my new schedule...home schooling my daughter has been rough at times, but it's totally worth it. I LOVE knowing that I'm in charge of what she's learning. During my lunch breaks, I've been taking pictures of new items that need to be listed in my shops and in the evenings I've been listing, promoting and creating. You can imagine with all that going on plus the usual upkeep of the house, cooking, etc. things have been crazy here. Today, however, we managed to get done with our school day at 1:30! That's a record for us...because we start at 10 each morning. My daughter zipped through her work today.

Anyway, I thought I would share a few pictures of some new things I've listed recently.

This crochet afghan is part of my kaleidoscope series, is super chunky and the perfect size to use as a throw or lapghan. This is currently in my ArtFire shop.
This lady bug magnet was handpainted by me on a recycled can lid. This is currently in my artfire shop.

This cute bee magnet was handpainted by me on a recycled can lid. This is currently in my etsy shop.

This is the second crocheted piggy bank that I've made. I have one listed in my etsy store and one in my artfire store. They're super cute and feature a crocheted cozy that fits snuggly over a recycled tin can. The cozy has a hole at the top for money to fit through. The cozy is washable and slips off easily. The cozy can be purchased by itself if you'd like to recycle your own cans into piggy banks. These are also available for custom order if you'd like to choose your own colors, or if you'd like me to add some sort of design. Just contact me for details!

New Venues...and falling behind

I've been soooo busy lately I've hardly had any time to get much done around here...so here's what's up. I've started home schooling my daughter so that has taken up most of my time. I'm also on two more venues, Craft is Art and Zibbet and I've still been crafting when I can. I have tons of new items, so instead of posting all those pictures here, I'll just post some links to my shops.

Zibbet

I hope you enjoy all the handmade goodies you see there! Also, my newborn niece who was born last month and has been in the hospital with various health issues may be able to come home tomorrow, so we're all praying that she'll be okay to leave the hospital.

I guess that's it for now...but I'll try to do a better job at keeping up with this place.

New Items and Beating the Sales Record

I have lots of new items to share with you from both stores, plus I have some exciting news about sales. My sales per month record was set in January with 6 sales. I broke that record with my March sales being 9! I'm hoping the sales continue! Okay, here's my newest items from etsy:

These cute patriotic earrings are just in time for Summer!
I've already sold one pair of these disco dangle earrings!

This pretty necklace and earring set is a favorite of mine! These are made from an antique necklace! This afghan is the latest addition to my ArtFire shop and is made with scrap yarn from my stash. This is wildly colorful and super bulky and warm!
